Margaritas

margaritas!

It's Friday! And you know what this calls for... Margaritas!

These margaritas are absolutely delicious and you best believe me because I do not lie about margaritas. These are very quick and easy to make, going from blender to mouth in less than five minutes. Best served with chips and salsa, summer fruits, and more margaritas.

So give a toast to the end the week! To the summer heat, good health, and, most importantly, tequila!

Blueberry and Raspberry Mini Tartelettes

Happy Fourth of July! May your day be filled with much friends, family, and fireworks.

red, white, and blue

If you are headed to a barbecue or potluck and need something festive to bring, these tartelettes will fit the bill. Not only are they holiday appropriate, they are also a light dessert (which is a good thing if you need to sample a little bit of everything like I do). The fruit filling is vibrant, full, and just sweet enough to make your taste buds tingle. Though, I must warn you, it may be difficult to eat just one.

These tarts also represent a personal aspiration of my own——my first paid baking gig. What a joy it is to get paid for doing what you love! I do hope this will not be my last.

Tapioca Pudding

tapioca pudding

To me, tapioca pudding is a comfort food. The flavors are simple, the texture is interesting, and it goes just as well served hot on cold winter nights as it does served cool on warm summer afternoons.

Tapioca pudding is versatile. Anything from berries to bittersweet chocolate can be added for a unique flavor. I chose to make the traditional vanilla to give myself (and you) a base to build from. Though, like me, you might just find that the pudding has mysteriously disappeared before you have a chance to experiment.
